  • Page 3 • Turn off the gas cylinder valve immediately if there is any gas leak or a smell of gas. • Never let children operate the gas barbecue. • This is not a toy - children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the grill.
  • Page 4 • Keep gas cylinder away from any source of ignition when changing the gas cylinder or carrying out a leak test. • Only use this barbecue with charcoal when the Fire Mountain Hybrid Tray (sold separately) which compatible with this barbecue model is installed. Please read and follow the Instruction Manual of the Fire Mountain Hybrid Tray.

Assembly of the barbecue involves many large components, so it is advisable to have two people assemble the unit.     WARNINGS AND INFORMATION IMPORTANT: • Never light the main burners or side burners when the barbecue lid is closed. • Never light the side burner when the lid is closed. • Your barbecue can be used with gas cylinder between 11kg and 15kg, and will perform better if propane or LPG mixtures are used.

    WARNING! DO NOT SMOKE NEAR THE GAS CYLINDER! WARNING! Before use, always check for leaks – never use a naked flame to test for leaks, always use the method described below. LEAK TESTING Leak test each time a new gas tank is connected or after a long period without having used the appliance.

    4. Push down and hold the burner knob, hold for 3 – 5 seconds and then turn it anti- clockwise to the big “ ” position, a click will be heard, this will light the burner. If not repeat this process 3 for 4 times. WARNING! If the burner fails to ignite, turn the control knob off (clockwise) and also turn the Gas Cylinder valve off - wait 5 minutes then repeat the above steps.

    SERVICING Your gas barbecue should be serviced annually by a competent registered person. Do check all hose and regulator at least 1 time per year and every time you replace the gas cylinder. All hoses must be replaced every 2 years. WARNING! Always replace damaged hoses with new hose that have the same quality and length.
  • Page 28 Cooking In order to reduce excessive smoke that can be emitted during the cooking, remove fatty parts from meat before cooking. Make sure that grease residue does not accumulate on the appliance. In the event of a grease fire, do not use water to extinguish, it may damage the burners, turn off the gas tank valve immediately.

All stainless steel components require a level of care and protection to retain their appearance. Stainless steel is not immune to corrosion and requires a level of maintenance. The brushed finish is a highly popular design feature of these barbecues, but requires more maintenance than mirror finish stainless steel.
