1.6 Damaged device
WARNING ‒ Risk of electric shock!
A damaged appliance or a damaged power cord is dangerous.
▶ Never use a damaged appliance.
▶ Never use an appliance with a cracked or broken surface.
▶ Never pull the power cord to disconnect the appliance from the
mains. Always pull the plug on the power cord.
▶ If the appliance or the power cord is damaged, immediately
unplug the power cord from the socket or switch off the fuse in
the meter cupboard and turn off the tap.

repairs are dangerous.
▶ Only trained personnel may carry out repairs to the appliance.
▶ Only original spare parts may be used to repair the appliance.
▶ If the mains connection cable or the device connection cable of
this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by a special mains
connection cable or special device connection cable available
from the manufacturer or customer service.
1.7 Dangers to children
WARNING ‒ Risk of suffocation!
Children can pull packaging material over their heads and become
entangled in it and suffocate.
▶ Keep packaging material away from children.
▶ Do not let children play with packaging material. Children may
inhale or swallow small parts and choke.
▶ Keep small parts away from children.
▶ Do not allow children to play with small parts. Children may
close themselves in the appliance and suffocate.
▶ If available, use the child lock.
