2-5 Backlight Settings

(1) Press the (MENU) button on the Panel or
on the Remote Control to enter the Main
Menu and press the (
Remote Control or (-VOL+) on the panel
to select the "ENHANCE" settings.
(2) Press the (OK) button to enter "EN-
HANCE" settings.
(3) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-PROG+) on the panel to
select the "BACKLIGHT" option.
(4) Press the ( ) button on the Remote
Control or (-VOLG+) on the panel to ad-
just the backlight brightness with a range
from 00 to 100.
(5) To continue setting other "ENHANCE"
sub-items, press the (
the Remote Control or (-PROG+) on the
panel to select the desired option. After
setting is complete, press the (MENU)
button to return to the Main Menu.

2-6 Closed Caption

A lot of TV programs and movies shown
on TV in the USA are broadcast with ad-
ditional information. This could be program
related information such as subtitles, or
non-program related information such
as weather information. Closed caption
broadcasts can be viewed in two modes:
Caption and text.
In caption mode subtitle, commentaries
and news broadcasts are available while
allowing a clear view of the main picture.
In the text mode, various non-program
related information is superimposed on
the screen.
