AC OPERATION
Insert one end of the supplied AC power cord to the AC IN socket located at the rear of the unit, and
the other end to the wall outlet. The unit will be automatically in standby mode when connecting to AC
power.
To disconnect the set from the AC supply completely, withdraw the AC power cord plug from the wall
outlet.
DC (BATTERY) OPERATION
1. To play your unit on batteries, the AC power cord must be disconnected from the unit and Wall
outlet.
2. Insert 3 batteries, type R14, UM2 or C cells (not included) into battery compartment and then close
the compartment door.
Warning: Before using the unit, check that the local mains supply is compatible with the unit.
Do not plug or unplug the power cable when your hands wet. When planning not to use the unit for
long periods of time (i.e. vacation etc.) disconnect the plug from the wall outlet.
Note:
Check your batteries regularly. Old or discharged batteries should be replaced. If the unit is not to be
used for sometimes or is being run exclusively on AC electrical current, remove batteries from the
battery compartment to avoid leakage.
SETTING THE TIME
1. In standby mode.
2. Press and hold PROG/TIME SET for 3 seconds to start time setting.

SETTING THE ALARM

5. To set alarm sound (Buzz / Radio / USB), press PREVIOUS or NEXT while the display is still
alarm sound to complete the alarm setting.
Remark: Press ALARM once to enable / disable the alarm function. To make sure the alarm icon is
switch on if alarm function is in using.
SNOOZE FUNCTION
1. When alarm sounds, you can press SNOOZE on top to temporarily suspend the alarm. The radio
will ring again at 9 minutes later. (The Snooze interval time is 9 minutes).
2. Snooze can be repeated until the POWER or VOLUME+ or VOLUME-. is pressed.
