Anwendung
Die Handfeuermelder Typ 2014/2 und 2014/2-GLU die-
nen der manuellen Alarmauslösung in explosionsgefähr-
deten Bereichen. Die Zündschutzart erlaubt den Einsatz
des Melders in allen Ex-Bereichen der Zonen 1 und 2, 21
und 22.
Aufbau
Der Explosionsschutz wird durch den Einbauraum und den
Anschlussraum in der Zündschutzart „erhöhte Sicherheit"
gewährleistet. Zwecks Explosionsschutz sind der Schaltkon-
takt und die Module gas dicht vergossen. Das Gehäuse ist
vollständig aus Kunststoff gefertigt. Hierdurch wird zum ei-
nen der hohe Korrosionsschutz, zum andern die Schutz-
klasse II und III gewährleistet. Ein Potentialausgleichsleiter
ist nicht erforderlich. Hohe Robustheit, mit den Wandstärken
von mind. 8 mm sind weitere Merkmale der Konstruktion.
Montage
Der Handfeuermelder ist auf einer senkrechten festen Flä-
che (Wand, Träger etc.) zu montieren. Der Untergrund
(Wand, Träger etc.) soll so beschaffen sein, dass die Be-
festigungsfüße sicher aufliegen und dass er das Gewicht
des Gerätes von ca. 1,8 kg dauerhaft tragen kann. Für die
Befestigung sind Schrauben mit Durchmesser 5 mm,

Operation
The Manual Fire Call Point (MFCP) of type 2014/2 and
2014/2-GLU are designed for manual triggering of alarms
in hazardous areas. The type of protection allows the
alarm to be operated of the zones 1 and 2, 21 und 22.
Design
The enclosure and the "increased safety" class of protec-
tion of the terminal room guarantee hazardous area pro-
tection. For reasons of explosion protection the switch
contact and the modules are gas tight embedded. The
housing is completely made of plastic. This ensures the
high level of corrosion protection as well as Class II and
III. No equipotential bonding necessary. Further design
characteristics are profound ruggedness and minimum 8
mm thick walls.
Mounting
The MFCP should be mounted on a vertical, fixed surface
(wall, girder, etc.). The mounting surface (wall, girder) must
be able to provide a stable platform for the fastening feet,
and it must be able to carry the weight of the device of ap-
prox. 1.8 kg on a long-term basis. For fastening purposes,
screws with a diameter of 5 mm, washers and spring lock
