Except as specified below. this warranty covers all defects in
materials and workmanship of the Kenwood brand products.
The lollowing are not covered by this warranty.
1. Vollageconversions.
2. Periodic check-ups which do not disclose any delect covered
bylhewarranly
3. Cabinets, grilles. olher exterior linlshes, belts, tape heads,
and otller non-durable parts and accessories
4. Units onwhich theserial number has been eflaced. modified
or removed.
5.lnstallationanc1/or removal charges.
6. Damaged magnetic tapes.
7. House call ctlarges lor any repairs.
8. Shipping or delivefY charges to or from an authorized
Kenwood Service Center.
9. ThiS warranty will nol cover any failure lhat isdue loanyof lhe
fall owing conditions in accordance wilh the visua Iinspection
01 the authorized Kenwood Service Center:
• Improper maintenance or repair, including the inslallalion 01
parts or accessories thai do not conlorm 10 the quality and
specifications of the original parIs.
• Misuse, abuse, neglect, unaulhonzed proouct modification
or failure to follow instructions contained in the Owner's
Manual.
• Accidental or intentional damages.
· Repairs or attempted repairs by an unauthOrized agency.
(All repairs must be pertormed al an authorized Kenwood
Service Center.)
• Damages or deterioralions caused during shipment (Claims
must be presented

• Damages or deterioralions resulting lrom removal andl
orreplacemenl.

warranty service.

2. Make your unit available to an authorized Kenwood Service
Center in the military market lor inspeclion and approved
warranty service, or ship your unil in its original carton box
or equivalent, tUlly Insured and shipping charges prepard,

During the warranty period. any aulhonzed Kenwood Service
Genler in the military market listed in lhe back ollhis wauanly
card will provide you free-ol-chafge both parts and labor
required 10 corleet any defecl in malerials or workmanship.
