When the servoamplifiers are built into machines or plant, the intended operation of the amplifier is forbidden until it has been established that the machine or plant fulfills the requirements of the EC Machinery Directive 98/37/EG and the EC Directive on EMC (89/336/EEC) and the Low Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC.

The servo amplifier’s 24 V supply must remain constant. The ASCII commands ACTFAULT (error response) and STOPMODE (ENABLE signal response) dictate how the drive will behave.
