Check that the installation frame of the outdoor unit is not broken at least once a year. • Failing to do so may result in injury, death or property damage. When the mini-split does not operate properly for cooling or heating, there is a possibility of refrigerant leakage. If there is any leakage, stop operation, ventilate the room, and consult your dealer to recharge the refrigerant.

Fan mode Use Fan mode to run the mini-split like a floor fan, providing a breeze without heating or cooling. Select ▶ ▶ Fan. NOTE • If the mini-split will not be used for an extended period of time, run it in Fan mode for 3 to 4 hours to dry the internal components.
Variety Smart Features Turbo function Turbo Use the Turbo function to provide intensive cooling or heating to sharply decrease or increase indoor temperature within 30 minutes. Auto Clean function Use the Auto Clean function to remove moisture from the inside of the mini-split for preventing propagation of fungi, bacteria, etc. Press and hold for 3 or more seconds. ▶ ▶ Select Auto Clean. ▶ NOTE • Depending on the condition of the indoor unit, the Clean operation stops after running for 10 minutes.
Variety Smart Features Quiet function Use the Quiet function to reduce operating noise. You can select this function both in the Cool and Heat modes. Cleaning the mini-split Cleaning the indoor unit exterior Wipe the surface of the unit with a slightly wet or dry cloth when needed. Wipe off dirt from odd-shaped areas by using a soft brush. CAUTION • Do not use alkaline detergent, sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid, or organic solvents (such as thinner, kerosene, and acetone) to clean the surfaces.

Appendix SmartThings app To use the SmartThings app, connect the product to the network in the sequence described below. The images shown may differ depending on your smartphone model, OS version and manufacturer. You need to set up the Wi-Fi access point only when connecting the product to a Wi-Fi network. Once the product is connected, you can use the SmartThings app via Wi-Fi, 3G, LTE, 5G or more wireless networks.
