3. Depending on the application, you may want to further secure the mud box by fastening the
mud box to nearby rebar using bailing wire. See the diagram on the following page. Be sure
that the mud box face is flush or no more than ¼" underflush to the proposed tile line.
4. With the HLMUDBOX secure and in place, install the plastic cover to prevent cement from
entering the mud box.
5. Pour concrete and allow to cure. Remove cover.
