    To guarantee reliable operation, the maximum operating conditions of all ƒ devices must not be exceeded. For a GigaCore 16tf (including PoE models) the maximum operating temperature is 50°C. When GigaCore 16tf is used in combina- tion with an RPSU 5580 and the combined power consumption exceeds 700W, the maximum operating temperature of the two devices combined is 45°C.

    WARNING: Use a MAINS power-in cable with a minimum length of 1.5m and maximum length of 3m and a minimum cable section of 1.5mm2. If you use the powerCon TRUE 1 - power out to power secondary devices, the circuit needs to be protected by a residual current protective device with rated current not exceeding 30mA.

  • Page 9 QUICKSTART GUIDE Welcome to your GigaCore 16tf. Upon unpacking your new GigaCore, the E-ink display will display a QR-code. After scanning this QR-code, the safety manual and quick start guide will be opened on your device used for scanning. Once the device has been powered up and booted, this QR-code will disappear and not come back on any subsequent bootup.

    1. MOUNTING THE DEVICE Rack mount In case you want to mount your GigaCore 16tf in a standard 19-inch rack, you need 4 rack screws to mount the device with the supplied accessories. 2. POWER UP THE DEVICE Power-up the device by connecting a power cable (B) (please contact your local dealer if you don’t have a suitable power cable on hand).

    4. LED INDICATORS There are various LEDs on the GigaCore 16tf. Here is a list of the LEDs, the possible colours, and the meaning of each colour: SWITCH LED COLOUR DESCRIPTION OK (General status) Green All OK. Unit is writing to the flash.
  • Page 14 With the use of the mode button, the user can get all the necessary information immediately. Press the mode button to cycle through the different states. STATE MODE PORT MODE DESCRIPTION The LED colour indicates the group Group White Group Colour assignment of the port.
