Cleaning the dust
compartment filter
• It is important that filters are cleaned
regularly to maintain performance.
1 Remove the dust container from the
product as detailed in the previous
section.
2 With the dust container lid removed E
twist the filter clockwise to remove from
the lid. H
3 Slide the mesh filter from the pleated
filter. I
4 The filter can be gently knocked against
the side of the dustbin to remove excess
dust.
• Use the crevice tool/brush to remove dirt
from between the the pleats.
5 To re-fit the filter, slide the mesh cover
back over the pleated filter and screw
the filter onto the lid anti-clockwise.J

The filter should be regularly washed
in cold water and left to air dry before

inserting back into the machine.
IMPORTANT: Do not use detergents to
clean the filter. The filter must be thoroughly
dry before the machine is used.
A spare filter is provided.
IMPORTANT: The dust container will not
lock back onto the machine unless the filter
is fitted correctly.
Cleaning the exhaust
filter

The exhaust filter ‚ is located at the
back of the cleaner. To remove, push the
catch and pull the cover away. K Take out
the filter. Wash regularly in warm water, but
do not use detergent. Allow to dry naturally
and ensure it is totally dry before
replacing it.
