Always turn off conveyor before accessing conveyor components. Use lockout/tagout pro-
cedures as appropriate.
Only personnel trained in safe conveyor installation and repair should perform installation
tasks.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to install, maintain, or service this
product based on task and site (for example, safety glasses).
Do not expose flammable plastic products to extreme temperatures or open flame.
Properly guard all moving components before operating the conveyor.
FINALIZE CONVEYOR ASSEMBLY
DRIVE AND IDLE END COMPONENTS
Assess the drive and idle component placement based on the "Conveyor Frame Dimension
1.
Guidelines" in the ThermoDrive Technology Engineering Manual at www.intralox.com.
Reassemble or install new idle end components as needed to meet the design requirements.
2.
Install a ThermoDrive-compatible drive end solution that meets the design requirements.
3.
Keep heat away from plastic components. Remove or cover nearby belting, containment
blocks, and wearstrips during welding to avoid surface damage.

NOTE: To lower wearstrips up to 0.5 in (13 mm) near the drive or idle shaft, see "Wearstrip Notching Procedures" on
CARRYWAY AND RETURNWAY COMPONENTS
Install returnway components like shafts, support rails, rollers, and shoes. See the Intralox
1.
ThermoDrive Technology Engineering Manual at www.intralox.com for design guidelines.
