2 OVERVIEW 2 OVERVIEW DESCRIPTION The ThermoDrive Trough Converter is designed to provide components to quickly and simply upgrade an existing tensioned, flat belt, troughed conveyor for use with tensionless ThermoDrive technology. It can also be used for new conveyor installation.

NOTE: This spacing simplifies and maximizes wearstrip use. Assess each bracket mark location. Ensure that there are no obstacles near the carryway sup- port to prevent bracket installation. ASSESS CONVEYOR END CARRYWAY WEARSTRIP PLACEMENT Determine the distance required from the drive end wearstrip to the drive shaft and the idle end wearstrip to the idle shaft. See “Conveyor Frame Dimension Guidelines” in the ThermoDrive Technology Engineering Manual at www.intralox.com for the related measurements.

Drive and idle shaft wearstrip ends extend toward the shaft per design guidelines require- ments. See the ThermoDrive Technology Engineering Manual at www.intralox.com. Wearstrip ends not facing the drive end or idle end extend only 1 – 4 in (25 – 102 mm) past a bracket.

Calculate the Quantity to Cut for each wearstrip length in the primary and secondary pattern. Use the drill and drill bit to cut into the wearstrip going through the notching guide hole. NOTE: Notches can be as deep as the stopper on the provided drill bit—approximately 0.5 in (13 mm) deep.
