    Figure 1 • Stealth Series General Installation Information Veridt Stealth series readers are designed to be operated as a Class 1 access control system component for use without requirements to withstand a destructive attack. A Tamper Indicator switch is available to provide a supervisory indication to the PACS in the event the reader is removed from its installed location.

    Pre-Installation Environmental The Veridt Stealth series readers are sealed to keep the reader from exposure to ambient environmental conditions. In certain cases; depending on the summer and winter conditions, mounting the reader in a suitable enclosure may be required. Avoid locations in direct sunlight, where UV radiation is particularly powerful; or installations that may allow snow, ice, or water to accumulate on the fingerprint sensor.
