Tamper Switch.
The Stealth series reader includes a tamper
switch that is located on the back of the reader.
When the reader is secured to the mounting
bracket, the micro-switch is engaged creating a
closed circuit.
When the reader is removed, the micro-switch
releases and the circuit opens.
Connect the tamper switch wire to the
appropriate panel input to detect open and
closed circuits.
The tamper switch is Normally Open (NO) and
rated at 20 VDC @ 350mA
OSDP Wiring of Tamper Switch
The tamper switch is not required for OSDP
applications and should not be connected.
