How do I load the string

To load the string on the EGO POWER+ ST1520S string trimmer:

1. Remove the battery pack from the trimmer.
2. Cut a 13 ft. (4 m) length of recommended nylon cutting line (maximum 0.095 in./2.4 mm diameter).
3. Insert the line into one eyelet and push it through until it comes out the opposite eyelet.
4. If the line does not go through, mount the battery and briefly press the line-loading button to release the lower cover, then try again.
5. Remove the battery if it was mounted.
6. Pull the line from both sides until equal lengths are on each side.
7. Reinstall the battery pack.
8. Press and hold the line-loading button to start winding the line into the trimmer head.
9. Release the button when about 7 inches (17.8 cm) of line remain on each side.

Avoid repeated button presses in rapid succession to prevent motor damage.
