Places
Check in to a Place
You can share your approximate location with your friends by checking in to a Place or creating a new Place. Depending on your
BlackBerry® device model, wireless service provider, or organization, this feature might not be supported.
1.
Click the Places icon at the top of the screen.
2. Click Check in.
• To check in to an existing Place, click a Place.
• To search for an existing Place, type a Place. Click Search <Place>.
• To create a Place, click Add a Place. Type a name and description. Click Create.
3. To tag friends at the Place, click Tag Friend. Type a friend's name. Click Continue.
4. Click Check in.
View a Place's profile
Depending on your BlackBerry® device model, wireless service provider, or organization, this feature might not be supported.

Click the Places icon at the top of the screen.
2. Click a Place.

To view the Place location, click the map icon.
•
To like a Place, press the Menu key > Like.
Stop sharing your location with Facebook
You can only stop sharing your location after you check in to a Place for the first time. Depending on your BlackBerry® device model, wireless
service provider, or organization, this feature might not be supported.
1.
Press the Menu key > Options.
2. Clear the Share my location with Facebook check box.
