The device may only be installed by a person qualified under Decree No. 50/1978 Coll. as amended, as a minimum by a qualified worker pursuant to
Section 5, Decree No, 50/1978 Coll. as amended.

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTING
1.
Prior to installation turn off power supply.
2.
Unscrew two screws on the front side of the light fitting and remove the transparent cover. Then push the two latches and lift off the plate.
3.
Select one of the marked holes for the power cord (on sides, at the front or at the bottom) and drill a hole with a hole punch. Put the supplied
rubber grommet into the hole.
4.
Drill two holes marked with the screw symbol on the bottom of the light fitting and use them as a template to mark holes in the wall.
5.
Drill 5mm holes and insert the supplied dowels.
6.
Slide the power cord through the drilled hole and fix the light fitting to the wall with the supplied screws.
7.
Connect the two-pin battery connector to the base board connector marked "BAT".
8.
Use permanent marker to mark the date of commissioning on the battery.
9.
Connect power supply: see sections Connection with permanent lighting; Connection with lighting in case of power failure only; Connection
with lighting in case of power failure only with external switch
10. Before testing insulation resistance for voltages higher than 250 V, make sure that the light fitting is disconnected.
11. Screw the transparent cover back on.
12. Switch on power supply. The green LED should light up green. Let the battery charge for 24 hours.
13. When charging is complete, disconnect the power supply and check that the light fitting remains on for at least 3 hours.
CONNECTING
Connection with lighting in case of power failure only
With this connection, the light fitting will remain switched off until a power failure. The power cord is plugged in so as to only charge the battery. In
the event of a power failure, the light fitting will light up for three hours. The green LED is lit when the battery is charging. For connection see Fig. 1.
Connection with permanent lighting
With this connection, the light fitting is lit permanently. In the event of a power failure, the light fitting will automatically switch to battery power.
For connection see Fig. 2.
Connection with lighting in case of power failure only with external switch
With this connection, a 230 V wire is fed from a power switch to the L1 socket and the light fitting is lit. In case of a power failure, the light fitting will
automatically switch to battery power. The switch can be used to turn the light on and off, while the battery is constantly charging. The green LED is
lit when the battery is charging. For connection see Fig. 3. Install a switch or another suitable device to turn the light on and off. The switch is not
included in the delivery.
