EXPLANATION OF THE DOSING SYSTEM 1.1. What is it? The dryer dosing system is a kit which can be ordered from the factory or installed at a later date in any dryer with a touch programmer. It consists of a fragrance chamber, a drive pump and a spray. The system impregnates the laundry with a fragrance at the end of the cycle, allowing the customer to remove the clothing with the scent chosen by the owner.
1.2. How does it work? The fragrance is sprayed through a spray nozzle above the drum so that is combines with the incoming air. As the air passes through the contents of the drum, the laundry is impregnated with the fragrance. Spray nozzle Cabinet with fragrance bag and drive pump...
2. INSTALLATION OF THE KIT 2.1. General considerations The kit should be installed leaving a space away from the wall at the rear for the replacement of the fragrance bag/bottle. 2.2. Which KIT do I need? The industrial dryers can be configured with different options. Therefore, different kits are available to suit all the models.
2.3. Tools required for the installation The following are required for the installation: PE4 Allen key 13 mm drill bit 25 mm crown drill bit Pliers Flat-head and Phillips screwdrivers...
2.4. Contents of the kits 2.4.1. Kit for 10 to 80 kg TP2industrial dryers All the kits come with a rear dryer panel and a fragrance diffuser. The fragrance diffuser contains all the components necessary for the installation of the kit. Certain components are supplied pre-installed. The remaining components are included in a bag.
2.4.2. Kit for TP2 STACK industrial dryers The kits for stack dryers come with a rear dryer panel and a fragrance diffuser. The fragrance diffuser contains all the components necessary for the installation of the kit. Certain components are supplied pre-installed.
2.5. Installation in 10 to 18 kg TOUCH II industrial dryers Remove the dryer panels. Remove the lid of the dryer. First turn the keys and then remove the bolts in the upper part of the panel.

3. ACTIVATION OF THE KIT Once the kit has been installed, it must be activated in the programmer. This will enable the dosing stages and possible actions to be displayed. To do so, access the technical service menu. The method of access is different depending on whether the machine is in self-service mode or free mode (OPL).
When the key is turned, the dryer requests an access password. The factory setting for this code is 1234. If the code has been changed, consult the owner and/or person responsible for changing the code. From this point, proceed as shown below in For OPL mode.
Page 41
You will be asked to provide an access password. Enter the code 1357. Select the icon for the Kits. Activate the dosing kit.
4. BLEEDING THE PUMP Proceed as in point 3. Activation of the kit until reaching the technical service screen. Once in the menu, select the inputs and outputs icon. Select the output menu. Next: • Close the door • Close the filter If any of the above points are not completed, the next point will not function.

Select the dose. If required, it is also possible to activate the fan to assist the extraction.
5. PROGRAMMES FOR DOSAGE 5.1. Description of the dosage cycle The dryer programmes are based on 3 different cycle types. • Drying cycle • Cooling cycle • Dosing cycle During the drying cycle, the laundry is dried using one or a combination of several cycles. Drying is possible in stages to ensure improved care of the laundry.
Page 45
The dosing cycle can be configured using 5 different parameters. Each parameter is described below. CYCLE EDITION SCREEN →Target dosing temperature (ºC/ºF). As soon as the temperature falls below this objective temperature, the dosage operation will take place. Min. 25 ºC, max. 60 ºC. →Dosing shake-up time (minutes).
5.2. Standard programmes of the dryer By default, the dryer already has 7 programmes configured with the dosing cycle. These are identified with the termination “+ D” at the end of the programme. PROGRAMME WITHOUT DOSING PROGRAMME WITH DOSING The existing programmes are as follows: TYPE OF PROGRAMME NAME DOSAGE...
5.3. Special programmes To improve the use of the dosing system, the personalised creation of programmes is recommended for each customer and type of use and the final fragrance strength required. Studies have been made in different working environments and certain guidelines have been established for each case as a reference for the creation of new programmes.
