SELF-TIMER / REMOTE CONTROL
SELF-TIMER
The self-timer will delay the release of the shutter for approximately 10 seconds after
you press the shutter-release button.
Turn the Function dial to

• The self-timer lamp on the front of the
camera will blink rapidly before the shutter is
released.
• Do not press the shutter-release button while
standing in front of the camera.
• If you want to take a picture with your subject
outside of the focus frame, use focus hold.
