FOCUS - CONT'D

FOCUS HOLD

Subjects outside the focus frame or LCD monitor center may not be in focus. Use
focus hold to ensure accurate focusing.
Place the focus frame on
your subject or center the
subject in the LCD monitor,
then press and hold the
shutter-release button
partway down so the green
focus lamp glows.
Without lifting your finger,
recompose the picture,
then press the shutter-
release button all-the-way
down to take the picture.

BUILT-IN FLASH

When the camera is turned on, the flash is automatically set to autoflash. The other
flash modes can be set by using the flash-mode/delete button and
In autoflash, the flash will fire automatically

when the light level is low or your subject is
backlit.
The flash will fire every time a picture is taken,

regardless of lighting. Use fill-flash to reduce
harsh shadows on your subject's face.
Use flash cancel when photographing subjects

Use the red-eye reduction feature to reduce
