Brief Operational Overview
Attaching the electrode holder base plate
• Identify the metal base plate with integrated pivot pin.
• Place the meter face down and align the hole on the base plate over
the rubber foot. The pivot pin should be facing downward.
• Use a screwdriver to tighten the screw.
BNC electrode connection
• Connect the electrode to the BNC connector port (10).
• Align the key and twist the plug into the socket.
Reference electrode connection
• Plug the reference electrode's jack into socket (11).

RCA probe connection – temperature
• Plug the connector into socket (12).
Note: Connect the probe with the device disconnected from power.
Power connection
• Plug the 12 Vdc adapter in to power.
• Press the power button (9) to turn the device on.

Best Practices
• Use pH 7.01 as first calibration buffer.
• Use pH 4.01 as second buffer when measuring acidic solutions.
• Use pH 10.01 as second buffer when measuring alkaline solutions.
• Immerse electrode tip 4 cm (1½") into the sample to be measured.
• Remove electrode from solution prior to powering off the meter.
• Do not place electrode in storage solution if connected to the meter.
