Assembly Instructions
1.
Start with the back wall and
a floor/ceiling piece. Stand
the pieces on edge so that
the long joint is vertical (Fig.
1). Apply tape across the joint
with the back piece outside,
over the edge of the floor/ceil-
ing piece and flush along the
edge. Tape the next joint like
the first, back piece outside
over the edge of the floor/ceil-
ing piece.
2. From the inside of the box,
open the taped joints and
apply glue along the length.
Fold the joints closed again
and add tape if necessary to correct any warping. Wipe
away any excess glue.
3. Make sure the windows and end wall door opening will be
where you want them before proceeding.
4. With the box still on end, apply glue to the back and side
edges of the panel that will be at the end that is now
down, on the table. Slide that end wall in place, making
sure the joints are flush. Slide the box forward off the edge
of the table and secure the front corners with masking
tape. Rotate it and secure the back corners. Turn the box
upside down, make sure all edges are flush, add more
tape as needed and wipe away any excess glue.

Not Suitable for Children
under 15 years old.
The kit is made of 3.6 mm luan plywood, and is sturdy
and lightweight when assembled. The thin panels may
sometimes seem slightly warped when the package is
opened, but that is easily corrected during assembly
and will not affect the completed kit.
100 grit sandpaper will help smooth edges and
reduce splintering, but finer grades (220 or above)
are needed for a smoother surface. Be careful not to
round off the panel edges before assembly. Use wood
filler for any voids in the panel surfaces. For finishing,
high quality semi-gloss paint is recommended.
The die-cut window and door openings do not have
to be used; the cutout pieces may be left in place and
concealed by finishing materials (wallpaper, etc.). The
cutting grooves may be filled in with wood putty for
better appearance, if needed. Either side of the pan-
els may be used, to allow alternate placement of the
door and window openings. The divider wall may be
positioned to allow larger and smaller rooms.
Plan the location of the divider wall and draw a line
on the floor, back wall and ceiling pieces for accurate
placement. Apply glue to this line when you install
the wall.
Punch out the openings you want to use and check
that your window and door units will fit properly.
Adjust openings as necessary, allowing for thickness
of floor at door opening.
