Main Screen:
On the main screen you can see all the readings from the different parameters. You can select and
choose which parameters you want to see. Press the menu button and use the knob to scroll over to
system setup then push the knob in to select that menu item. In System Setup the first option is Face
Select, push the knob in to enter the face select menu.
From the main screen, move the knob left and right and notice the blue highlight hover over the names
of the parameters. This highlight acts as your cursor and when hovered over a parameter you can push
the knob in to open that specific parameter's menu settings. You may also scroll over to standby at the
bottom of the monitor and click in the knob to enter standby mode. This displays the time and saves
battery life and electricity use when the monitor does not need to be in use.
Alarms:
You can change the alarms for all parameters. You do this by entering the parameters menu settings,
described in the main screen section. There is a low and a high for all alarms and all can be adjusted. You
can also set all alarms through the alarm setup menu. Hit the menu button, choose system setup, then
select alarm setup. In this menu you can set all alarms for all parameters and choose the alarm volume
as well as the record time for how much information is recorded after an alarm goes off. To choose
different parameters in this menu push the knob in when the blue square is hovering over Common
ALM Setup. Turn the knob left or right to choose different parameters.
Patient Setup:
To enter a new patient hit the menu button then choose patient setup. Enter in all necessary
information and when finished click New Patient. All old recorded info will be erased, and your new
patient will start with a clean slate. If you want to store data you can do so by inserting a USB thumb
drive in the back of the unit.
