For units that have an auxiliary electric heater, do not install the unit within 3 feet (1 meter) of any combustible materials. • Do not install the unit in a location that may be exposed to combustible gas leaks. If combustible gas accumulates around the unit, it may cause a fire. DURASTAR.COM...
Page 6 When the refrigerant sensor malfunctions, the indoor unit will display the error code “FHCC”. The refrigerant sensor can not be repaired and can only be replaced by the manufacturer. It shall only be replaced with the sensor specified by the manufacturer. DURASTAR.COM...

NOTE Your Durastar air conditioner's outdoor unit is equipped with a base pan heater, allowing it to continue to operate at freezing temperatures as low as -22°F (-30°C). When outdoor air temperatures are at or below 32°F (0°C), we strongly recommend keeping the unit plugged in at all times to ensure smooth ongoing performance.
