    Regularly inspect and clean air filters. NOTE Your Durastar air conditioner's outdoor unit is equipped with a base pan heater, allowing it to continue to operate at freezing temperatures as low as -13°F (-25°C). When outdoor air temperatures are at or below 32°F (0°C), we strongly recommend keeping the unit plugged in at all times to ensure smooth ongoing performance.

    Burrs can affect the airtight seal of the refrigerant piping connection and must be completely removed. 1. Hold the pipe at a downward angle to prevent burrs from falling into the pipe. 2.     1. Soap and Water Method - Using a soft brush, apply a soapy water or liquid detergent to all pipe connection points on the indoor and outdoor unit. The presence of bubbles indicates a leak. 2.
