Please note that the MO 5595 system software continues to support the
MG 3000 phone connection, but with limited functionality compared to
the CI 3000. For an overview of functions please read the operating
instructions for the MO 5594 software.

Linking of mobile phone with CIX 3000 Blue

In order to be able to operate the mobile phone with the CIX 3000 Blue
Hands-free terminal it must be registered with the CIX 3000 Blue. This
process need only be carried out once for each phone.
If there is no system-linked mobile phone within range, the "Bluetooth"
option will automatically appear in the Start menu of the navigation
system. Please make sure that the Bluetooth feature of your mobile
phone is activated (for more information see the operating instructions
for your mobile phone). If you want to link or pair the phone:

Select "Bluetooth" in the Start menu. Press the OK button.

The screen displays the "Start pairing?" prompt. Select "Yes", and
press the OK button.

The screen will display the message "Pairing started". Now also
start the search for Bluetooth devices on your phone. This function
is manufacturer-specific. The navigation system will now need
some time to register the mobile phone.

If the process has been successful, the device name of your mobile
phone will appear on the screen. Confirm by pressing the OK
button.

The "Telephone" option appears in the Start menu.

If registration has been unsuccessful the fault could lie with the
firmware of your mobile phone. Please check the firmware. You can get
the current lists of suitable firmware at vdodayton.com, www.C-IQ.net
and by dialling the C-IQ Service Centre on 00800 99 33 33 33.

Driver software for the CI 3000

The CI 3000 is compatible with selected hands-free units and mobile
phones. For some of these, the required driver software is preinstalled
(see CI 3000 product label). It is possible to update the CI 3000, for
example in order to use a new mobile phone.
The updating of the driver software can be performed automatically or
manually. Should a new mobile phone be inserted that is unknown to the
CI 3000 the navigation system will automatically start downloading the
suitable driver software. If you would like to use several or a variety of
mobile phones, for example, with a universal hands-free unit or via the
CIX 3000 Blue, this process can also be carried out manually.
