define the search option. The following can be selected:
•
Search at destination
•
Search close to car (current location)
•
Search near a city (enter the city name via the keypad)
•
Search near via point
To narrow the search, this may be followed by a multistage query,
presented in the form of lists, from which the respective subcategories
can be selected. The option "Go to the homepage" (if available), can be
used to access the homepage of the respective provider directly.

The link colours used on the travel info pages may vary from one source
to another. To activate the selected link, simply press the OK button.
See also page 14 for the preview function, which you can use to test
travel info products.

Points of interest

For map DVD/CDs with activated travel guides to points of interest, an "i"
is displayed additionally in the "Quit" line of the list display. If additional
information about the facilities in the list display is available, this is
indicated by a provider-specific letter (e.g. "v" for Varta).
Press the „ button to display this additional information.

Use cursor buttons ‚ and  to select the detail view. If "Links" are

available, the desired link can be marked using cursor buttons
 and ‚ . Press the OK button.
A list with the following functions is displayed:
•
"Return:" Return to the list display for points of interest.
•
"Activate:" Jump to the information in accordance with the previously
marked link, or accept the marked facility as destination address.
•
"Previous:" display previous page.
•
"Next:" display next page.
•
"History:" Select page from a list of previously viewed pages.
The function list is automatically closed after several seconds, if no
function is selected. If no additional information is available, simply select
the list entry in the category.

Select the desired facility and press the OK button to open the
function list.

Select "Activate", and press the OK button.

Select "Guidance", and press the OK button.
