- Page 5 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS - DIAMOND CORE DRILL SR25, SR38, SR65, SR68, SR75 (S) Please read these instructions carefully before starting up the machine! In the WEKA diamond core drilling machine you have an outstanding quality product with which you will be very satisfied, provided you use it properly.
- Page 6 Avoid abnormal posture. Care for safe standing and keep the balance anytime. Do not work on a ladder. Thus you can control the electric tool better in unexpected situations. Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear wide clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
- Page 7 It is suitable for drilling into rock, concrete, asphalt and masonry. Through the addition of water through the diamond drill bit (3) via the ball valve (1a) the drilled material is flushed away and the tool is cooled (wet drilling). The drilling tool, the diamond drill bit (3), is a tube drill which is fitted with soldered-on or welded-on segments impregnated with diamond splinters.

- Page 9 Please use a GARDENA coupling as the connecting piece to the machine. This can be obtained from a garden center or builders' merchant. A water coupling of brass of high value can be received directly from WEKA. Use only clean water, as dirty water will considerably disturb the heat exchange on the cooling surface and thereby the motor can be totally damaged.
- Page 10 Fixing methods Dowel fixing - The most common method of fixing is dowel fixing. Use only metal dowels. Bracing - It is also possible to fasten the drill stand with a suitable quick shift column against a rigid wall. Appropriate columns are offered by the diamond tool market. With the SR-machine you can also drill overhead without any further precautions.
- Page 11 Error report If a fault appears, the red LED* flashes below the start button and the error code is shown on the display in terms of a double figure. The meaning of these figures is described in the following Error Meaning Procedure code...
- Page 12 Now bring the machine to a WEKA service station for inspection, so that the machine can be maintenanced and the counter can be set back. Do not work longer than 20 hours now in your own interest, as you may loose any warranty claims.
- Page 13 G U A R A N T E E We will guarantee the WEKA core drilling machine for 12 months from the day of delivery. During this period we will rectify material and production defects free of charge. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, overloading, non-compliance with the operating instructions and intervention by unauthorized persons or the use of parts from other companies.
