Parts large enough to prevent the lid from closing should never be left unattended in the cleaning area as they will interfere, in the case of a fire, with the fusible link disengaging and allowing the lid to close. -

Model 250/260/257/267 Operator Booklet EQUIRED AINTENANCE Oil and soils removed from the solvent during the recycling process accumulate in the distillation tank (typically, 2 to 3 quarts per week). It is ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL that the distillation tank be drained after recycling every batch of solvent to ensure the unit functions correctly. -
