Using a safe lifting device rated at a minimum of 1500 lbs., lift disk sub-assembly 9951 from pallet. Remove roll pins and center shaft 9950 (71782B) from disk frame.
— Set Up Maximus 100 Accessories Blade Scrapers • SHARP EDGES ON THE MACHINE CAN CAUSE INJURY. BE CAREFUL WHEN WORKING AROUND THE MACHINE. Unpack blade scrapers, separate, and identify all components according to page 5-6 of the PARTS section. Determine if scrapers are to be installed for "normal" or "reverse" disking.

— Set Up Maximus 100 Accessories Blade Scrapers 8. Mount scrapers (806140B) to angle (72977B FIG. 2-5 or 72978B). Secure with 1/2-13UNCx1-3/4 carriage bolts (9388-105), flat washers (9405- 088), lock washer (9404-025) and hex nut (9394-010). 9. Tighten all hardware and torque to speci- fications.
— Set Up Maximus 100 Accessories Side Shield Side shields (71809B) can be used to prevent vines and branches from becoming entangled in the disk. The shields may be adjusted for height and width and fore/aft position on the disk. Adjust the shields by loosening and removing the 1/2" mounting hardware and setting the shields to the desired location.
— Set Up Maximus 100 Accessories Blade Extension Kit • SHARP EDGES ON THE MACHINE CAN CAUSE INJURY. BE CAREFUL WHEN WORKING AROUND THE MACHINE. 1. Park the unit on a firm, level surface. Lower the disk until it is fully resting onto a min- imum of two supports rated for 1500 lbs each. Set the vehicle parking brake, shut off the engine and remove the ignition key.
