Important Safety Information • This vehicle is suitable for children from newborn to 4 years or up to a maximum weight of 22kg, whichever comes first. With a car seat at- tached birth to 13kg, with a carrycot attached birth to 9kg.
  • Page 4 It is recommended that the carrycot canopy is folded back and the apron - top cover - is removed when the child is sleeping in the carrycot indoors. The Oyster Gravity+ is compatible with the Oyster Carrycot. Please check babystyle.co.uk for infant car seat compatibility.

Where there are small differences between the physical object and the illustrations, the physical stroller shall prevail.
  • Page 6: Fitting/Removing Front Wheel

    FITTING / REMOVING FRONT WHEEL To fit the front wheels; locate the front wheel axle stub and push into the front wheel unit. Ensure the front wheel units are secure before use. To remove the front wheel: Step 1 - press in the wheel release button located on the rear of the wheel unit.

    REMOVING THE REAR WHEEL To remove the rear wheels: pull down and hold the light grey rear wheel release lever and pull wheel away from the rear wheel housing. OPENING THE CHASSIS To open the chassis; release the chassis travel clip, then holding the chassis handle, lift the chassis until it clicks open.

    OPENING THE SEAT CONT... FOLDING THE SEAT Parent facing: First put the canopy back towards the seat, then use the recline lever on the back of the seat and push the seat towards and past the handle bar, until it meets the calf rest.

    World facing: With the canopy back, put the seat back in line with the handle bar using the recline lever, pull the calf rest toward the handle bar. FOLDING THE CHASSIS With the seat folded, press the primary chassis locking clip until it clicks on the right hand side of the chassis.

    FOLDING THE CHASSIS CONT... NOTE: when engaging the locking clip ensure the fabric from the hood is not in the way. OPERATING THE SWIVEL FRONT WHEELS The front wheels can be used in swivel or fixed-wheel mode. To switch from locked to swivel; turn the swivel wheel lock collar until wheels move freely.

    USING THE PARKING BRAKE The engage the brake; firmly press down on the brake lever found in the middle of the rear axle. Check that the brake is fully engaged before letting go of the handle. To release the brake, press forwards or lift up the brake lever until the wheels move freely.

    REMOVE/FITTING THE SEAT UNIT To remove the seat unit from the chassis, press the memory buttons down either side of the seat next to the central hub until they click. Once both are pressed down, the seat can be lifted off. Never remove the seat with a child in it.

    ADJUSTING THE SEAT UNIT BACKREST Pull the lever at the top rear of the backrest to recline the seat back- rest. The seat backrest has three pre-set positions. When the seat backrest is in the required position, release the lever and the seat will lock into position.

    REMOVE/FITTING THE BUMPER BAR Push both ends of the bumper bar into the corresponding entry slots on the seat unit until the bumper bar locks into position. To remove the bumper bar, press in the bumper bar release buttons on either side underneath the entry slots on the seat unit.

    To utilise the ventilation window fold over the fabric of the panel nearest the back rest. USING THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SAFETY HARNESS) Always apply the parking brake before placing your child in the vehicle. WARNING: Ensure the buckle and connectors are fully engaged before use.
  • Page 16 USING THE RESTRAINT SYSTEM CONT... To release the 5-point magnetic buckle, firmly press the buttons ei- ther side and pull the front part away. The harness can be adjusted to suit your child by sliding the adjusters along the shoulder straps and waist belt. The crotch strap can be adjusted to suit your child by sliding the adjuster.

    REMOVE/FITTING OF SHOULDER PADS To remove the shoulder harness pads, pull the Velcro apart to open the pad, then undo the popper at the back. To attach the shoulder harness pad, press the popper on the pad into the one on the back of the strap until it clicks, and then close the Velcro around the strap.

    FITTING THE CARRYCOT APRON Fasten the zip on the apron to the corresponding zip on the carry- cot and pull all the way around. Secure the press studs between the apron and carrycot. FITTING THE CARRYCOT TO THE CHASSIS The carrycot can only be fitted to the chassis when the seat unit has been removed.

    FITTING THE CARRYCOT TO THE CHASSIS CONT... vided or recommended by the manufacturer. WARNING: Do not place the carrycot near an open fire or other source of strong heat. WARNING: Do not let children play unattended near the carrycot. WARNING: The handles and the bottom of the carrycot should be inspected regularly for signs of damage and wear.

    ADJUSTING THE CARRYCOT HOOD Press in the buttons on the sides of the hood and pull up until you hear them click into place. Press in the buttons again to put the hood down. ROCKING / STABILISING CARRYCOT The carrycot is designed to be able to rock gently when placed on the floor and not attached to the chassis.
  • Page 21 FITTING THE CARRYCOT TO THE OYSTER CARRYCOT STAND Read the instructions before use. To fit the Oyster Carrycot - line up the carrycot attachment devices with the fixtures on the stand and push down until you hear a click on both sides. To remove, use the lever on the back of the carrycot and pull the carrycot up.

    FITTING THE OYSTER CAPSULE CAR SEAT TO THE CHASSIS The car seat can not be attached to the chassis until the seat unit or carrycot has been removed. The multi adaptors fit many leading brands of car seats (check with your retailer for full details). Insert the car seat adaptors into the chassis attachment devices.

    REMOVING THE OYSTER CAPSULE CAR SEAT FROM THE CHASSIS To remove the car seat from the chassis: Press down on the two but- tons on the sides of the car seat and lift the car seat away from the chassis. To remove the adaptors form the chassis push in the buttons on the bottom of the adaptors and lift the adaptors away from the attach- ment device.

    FITTING THE STROLLER RAIN COVER Place the rain cover over the stroller; the rain cover needs the stroller hood to be fitted and open. Press corresponding press studs along the sides of the stroller rain cover (left and right). There are two web- bing straps at the front of the stroller, wrap each of these around the closest front leg (left and right).

    CARE AND MAINTENANCE • Regularly check screws, rivets, bolts and fastenings to ensure they are locked tight and secure. Replace any parts in an inferior condition. When using this product during the winter, by the sea or off road it is important to clean using fresh water and dry thor- oughly.

    SERVICING OF YOUR OYSTER GRAVITY+ STROLLER We recommend that this product is regularly maintained and is ser- viced by a BabyStyle authorised dealer at least every 12 months. Only replacement parts supplied or recommended by the manufacturer/ distributor shall be used.

    WARRANTY TERMS • Chassis: 24 consecutive months. • Fabrics, accessories and PVC rain cover: 6 consecutive months. • The warranty only applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. The warranty will be invalidated in the following circumstances: • The product has not been used for its intended purpose as described within the instruction manual.
