1.3 General safety regulations 1.3 General safety regulations This safety tester S1801M has been manufactured according to the state of the art at the time of its delivery. Nevertheless the tester is not without hazards if it is applied by untrained personnel, applied improperly or not applied according to regulations.
1 General Information 1.3.3 Safety installations The S1801M testers are, for the safety of the operating personnel, equipped with below safety equipment: safety current limiting for insulation test and high voltage test protective low voltage for protective wire test Capacitive DUTs and DC high voltage When testing with DC high voltage, capacitive DUTs are getting charged.

The "Dummy" test program is tailored so that you can use a test dummy of SPS electronic to ensure the correct function of the tester. The dummy program guides through the testing procedure, using text steps to give instructions what has to be switched at the dummy, what has to be connected at next, etc.
