Health and Safety
Before using this product, carefully read this manual and any manuals for compatible
hardware. Retain instructions for future reference. Parents or guardians of children should
read this manual for safe use.
This product has been designed with the highest concern for safety. However, any electrical
device, if used improperly, has the potential for causing fire, electrical shock or personal
injury. Observe all warnings, precautions, and instructions. Stop use and disconnect the AC
power cord immediately if the product functions in an abnormal manner, produces unusual
sounds or smells or becomes too hot to touch.

YOUNG CHILDREN INJURIES
Keep the product out of the reach of young children. Young children may swallow small
parts or may wrap the cables around themselves, which may inflict injury or cause an
accident or a malfunction.

Precautions
AC adaptor and AC power cord
Only use the AC adaptor and AC power cord included with the product. The AC adaptor

and AC power cord are designed specifically for use with this product only. Do not use
them with any other products.
Do not connect the AC power cord to a voltage transformer or inverter. Connecting the
ˎ
cord to a voltage transformer for overseas travel or an inverter for use in a vehicle may
cause it to heat up in the AC adaptor and may cause burns or a malfunction.
Unplug the cord and cables if you want to clean or move the product or do not intend to
ˎ
use it for an extended period of time. When disconnecting, hold the cord by the plug and
pull straight out of the socket. Never pull by the cord and do not pull out at an angle.
Liquid, dust, smoke, steam, and heat
Always ensure the product and its connectors are free of liquid, excess dust and small
ˎ
particles.
Do not leave the product in the following areas during use, storage, or transportation.

Areas with high humidity, dust, or cigarette smoke

Areas near heating appliances, areas exposed to direct sunlight, or areas that retain

Set up and handling
Do not use the cords if they are damaged or modified.

Do not place heavy items on the product, adaptor or cord, throw or drop the product, or

otherwise expose it to strong physical impact.
Do not place the product on surfaces that are unstable, tilted, or subject to vibration.

Do not leave the product on the floor.

Do not walk on the cord or cables or pinch them, particularly at plugs, receptacles,
ˎ
connectors and where they exit from the product.
Do not pull or bend the cord with excessive force.
ˎ
Do not touch the plugs, connectors or insert any foreign objects into them or the product.
ˎ
Arrange the cables carefully to avoid tripping over them.
ˎ
Do not swing the product or adaptor around by their cord.
ˎ
Do not expose the product, battery, or accessories to high temperatures, high humidity, or

direct sunlight during operation, transportation, and storage.
Use and handling
Never disassemble or modify the product or accessories
Use the product and accessories according to the instructions in this manual. No
authorisation for the analysis or modification of the product, or the analysis and use of its
circuit configurations, is provided. Unauthorised modification of the product will void your
manufacturer's guarantee.
Care and cleaning
Follow the precautions below to help prevent the product exterior from deteriorating or
discolouring.
Do not apply volatile substances such as insecticide.

Do not allow rubber or vinyl materials to be in prolonged contact with the product.

Do not use thinner, benzine, or alcohol. Avoid using wipes, chemically-treated cloths, and

other products that contain such substances.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

Charging
This product is compatible with DualSense™ Wireless Controller and DualSense Edge™
Wireless Controller.

Connect the supplied AC power cord to the supplied AC adaptor. Then, connect
the AC adaptor to the DC IN connector on the charging station.
Make all connections before plugging the AC power cord into an electricity supply.

Attach one or two controllers to the charging station.
Align the charging terminals on the controller with the charging connector on the
charging station. Press down on the controller until it clicks. The light bar on the
controller slowly blinks orange while the controller charges. When the controller finishes
charging, the light bar turns off.

To remove the controller
Lift the controller out of the charging station to remove it.
Charging time
When the battery has no remaining charge, the time to charge fully depends on the
controller.

plug supplied with this equipment has a detachable fuse cover, be sure to attach the fuse
cover after you change the fuse. Never use the plug without the fuse cover. If you should
lose the fuse cover, please contact your nearest Sony service station.
