Setup Preparing a power source Supply power to your monitor using the supplied power adapter. If you cannot access power outlet easily, you can purchase compatible batteries as power source. Using the supplied power adapter Make sure the proper adapter plug is used. 1.

Connecting a video source and powering on 1. Connect the monitor to your camera via HDMI or SDI. Prepare an appropriate video cable according to the output port of your camera. 2. Connect the adapter to the DC power input jack and an power outlet.

5. If your input source is HDMI, the image is then displayed on the monitor directly. Note To power off, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. Wait for a few seconds to cool down the monitor before powering it on again. Tips If your input source is SDI, you need to select the input manually.

Installing the protection cage The supplied protection cage helps to secure the monitor on your camera. The 1/4"-20 screw holes around the protection cage provide flexibility for connections with other peripherals to suit your need. The protection cage can be installed in one direction only.

3. Secure the cage and the monitor with the supplied screws from the top, left, and bottom sides. 4. Attach and secure the monitor to your camera for video monitoring. Additional adapter and tools may be required and should be purchased separately.

Installing the shading hood You can install the supplied shading hood to avoid unwanted reflections from other light sources. This shading hood works both for landscape and portrait orientations. The shading hood must be fastened on the protection cage. Make sure the protection cage has been installed as instructed in Accessing tools quickly.

Zebra Min IRE Max IRE Display Color Min IRE: sets the minimum brightness value that will enable Zebra function. Max IRE: sets the maximum brightness value that will enable Zebra function. Safe Marker Opacity Area Marker Aspect Marker 60 % Opacity: sets the transparency of the frame border or area outside the frame. Area Marker: sets the frame by the percentage of screen area. Aspect Marker: sets the frame by aspect ratio. Display Color: sets the frame color when an aspect marker.

Curve You can select one appropriate gamma curve. Curve Color Temperature This tool applies a color tint (cool or warm) to the image. Color temperature is measured in K (Kelvin) degrees. The display becomes reddish if the color temperature is low, and becomes bluish if the color temperature is high.

Care and maintenance Cleaning • Power off the product, and remove all cables and battery (if attached) before cleaning. • Clean the product by a clean and dry cleaning cloth. • If necessary, apply a small drop of screen cleaner on a small, clean part of the supplied cleaning cloth, and wipe the stained area gently.
