Quick Start Guide
Removal of the USB flash drive for data
retrieval
a)
Use a 24 mm socket and ratchet and remove the
USB cap.
b)
Remove the gasket protecting the USB flash drive.
c)
Remove the USB flash drive.
d)
During short-term storage, the «red» cap may be
used in place of the USB flash drive.
Note _______________________________________
Do not remove the Communication end cap.

Transducer end-cap removal for battery
replacement
a)
Open vent valve (A) to release internal pressure.
The safety valve (B) indicates overpressure.
b)
Remove the nylon retainer cord (!).
c)
Pull the end-cap clear of the housing.

Battery and O-ring replacement
Using the integrated handle
a)
Pull the battery out using the integrated handles.
Replace with Lithium or (optional) NiMH
rechargeable batteries.
b)
Check and replace O-rings as needed at (A),
(B), and (C).
The NiMH rechargeable battery handle is painted
white, Lithium is standard black.

Water ingress can cause serious damage to
equipment and may cause serious personal
injury. Work in a clean and dry environment and
replace O-rings as needed.
