Eos SW
is an electronic thermostat, semi-fl ush mount for box 503, featuring temperature
control by knob and load-on indication light. The package includes the relevant mounting
support, also for wall installation.
Besides the EOS base model, the following versions are available:
- EOS DN, featuring a selector switch by which it is possible to turn the temperature setting
down by 3°C
- EOS SW, featuring a selector switch by which it is possible to control both heating and
A/C systems

The EOS thermostat performs 1B-type actions and is aimed for household or similar premises,
under a normal pollution degree.
During product installation and operation, it is necessary to observe the following
instructions:
1) The instrument must be installed by a qualifi ed person
2) Disconnect power supply while installing the unit
3) Do not power or connect the product if any part of it is damaged
4) Connect the product considering the diagrams described in the following manual and
on the instrument

INSTALLATION AND MOUNTING
It is advisable to choose for the thermostat a position in a zone in which the temperature
is the room average value.
Do not install it too near doors, windows, sources of heat, direct sunlight or in places in
which airing is too much or too poor.
Installing the thermostat about 150cm from the fl oor is recommended.

SEMI-FLUSH MOUNTING (BOX 503)
Connect the power and relay terminals (refer to the wiring diagrams).
Fasten the thermostat to the 503 box using the two screws attached.
Place the silk-screen printed front shell by pressing on the four corners simultaneously.
(The wall-mounting base is not used)

WALL MOUNTING
Fasten the base to the wall.
Connect power and relay terminals (refer to the wiring diagrams) and then fi t the
thermostat in.
Place the silk-screen printed front shell by pressing on the four corners simultaneously.
In order to access to the wiring when the device is in its service position, cut off the power
supply, insert a fl at-head screwdriver into the slots on the sides as shown on fi gure, lift the
front shell and remove the thermostat.
If the thermostat is installed on the wall, place a fl at-head screwdriver into the upper and
lower slots to remove it (as shown in the fi gure).
