  • Page 24 Chapter 6 Glossary Daisy-chain connection A method of connecting two or more monitors to a PC in a daisy-chain. DDC (Display Data Channel) VESA provides the standardization for the interactive communication of the setting information, etc. between a PC and the monitor. DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) The DICOM standard was developed by the American College of Radiology and the National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association of the USA.
