5.6 Configuring LAN IP Alias – ZyWALL
IP Alias allows you to partition a physical network into different logical networks over the
same Ethernet interface. The ZyXEL device lets you configure logical LAN interfaces via its
single physical Ethernet interface with the device itself being the gateway for each LAN
network.
When you use IP alias, you can also configure firewall rules to control access between the
LAN's logical networks (subnets).
Select a device, and then click Configuration > LAN > IP Alias.
Chapter 5 Configuration > LAN
DESCRIPTION
This is the index number of the Static IP table entry (row).
This is the MAC address of a computer on the device's LAN.
This is the IP address to be assigned to the device with the MAC address above.
Click Apply to save your changes back to the ZyXEL device.
Click Reset to begin configuring this screen afresh.
