INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
C-FL-B-FLW- (20L,26L,34L,45L) Series
MOUNTING USING 2" FITTER
NOTE: Fixture is intended to be mounted on 2-3/8" (60 mm) O.D.
heavy wall pipe or tenon.
1.
Remove splice compartment cover from fitter by removing (2)
cover screws, expose splice compartment of fitter. See Figure 2.
2.
Route fixture's 18AWG power cord through open end of upper
fitter and into splice compartment. See Figure 2.
3.
Attach 2" adjustable fitter to (4) threaded holes on fixture housing
using supplied Allen bolts and Allen wrench. Make sure fitter
gasket is properly positioned between upper fitter and housing.
Tighten the bolts. See Figure 2.
4.
Route supply leads through end of mounting pipe or tenon,
through open end of lower fitter, and into splice compartment.
5.
Slip lower fitter over pipe or tenon, being careful not to pinch any
leads. See Figure 2.
6.
Strain relief is required for electrical connections in 2" adjustable
fitter mounts at height of 25' (7.6 m) and above. Tie a knot in the
supply leads above the hole where the leads enter the splice
compartment to reduce the strain on the connections. Make sure
the knot will not slip through the hole.
7.
Aim fixture by rotating on pipe or tenon to desired direction.
Securely tighten (2) Allen head set screws on fitter to 140 in-lbs
(16 N-m).
8.
See Color Temperature Setting section to set CCT.
9.
Wire as indicated in Electrical Connections section.
10. Loosen (DO NOT REMOVE) the bolt holding the two halves of the
fitter together. Tilt fixture to desired angle and re-tighten bolt to 19
ft-lbs (25 N-m) to lock the fitter in place.
11. Carefully tuck all leads and splices into splice compartment and
replace the cover that were removed in Step 1. Tighten cover
screws to 25 in-lbs (3 N-m).
