Thank you for purchasing this Buckingham Mfg. product. The sheaves of these pulleys are
equipped with sealed ball bearings for efficiency. The axle heads are low-profile to help avoid
hanging up on other gear. The BuckBully™ is a high strength aluminum pulley designed to be
used in conjunction with the popular OX Block™ for synthetic rope. It features a maintenance free
sealed ball bearings delivering effortless pulling and side plates that are hard coat anodized and
laser etched for long lasting durability. The aluminum sheave can accommodate up to a
(16 mm) diameter rope and the side plate to sheave tolerance is tight enough that P-line or mule
tape can be pulled through and not get jammed up. All of this in a lightweight package that can
handle loads of up to 2500 lbf (11.1 kN) all
rope.
Strength: In a single pulley, half the load is on one side of the rope and half is on the other. The
total load on the pulley is thus 2x the mass that is being raised or lowered. Breaking Strength &
Working Load are based on this equal loading.
Side plates must be closed and all plates must be attached to the anchor. Connecting to only
one side plate is absolutely forbidden!
