19.5 Special cooking methods and other applications
Information and recommended settings for special cooking methods and other applications, e.g. low-temperature
cooking.
Steam assistance
If you are using steam-assisted cooking, steam is produced in the cooking compartment. This gives the food a crispy
crust and a shiny surface. Furthermore, the food becomes tender and juicy inside and there is only a minimal reduc-
tion in its volume.
Recommended settings for steam-assisted cooking
The water tank must always contain the recommended amount of water when placed on the base of the appliance.
