The outer observation is followed by the inner observation. Please note that opening the ECDRIVE voids warranty and may only be done on specific demands by LORENTZ. Open the ECDRIVE in a workshop only and secure a clean work environment. -

If the outer observation does not show any failures/causes, proceed with a quick running test (2.4 on page 10) to identify whether the motor is able to run. Experience has shown that an electrical defect is very often caused by cable splice. Therefore, LORENTZ recommends redoing the splice in case of any signs for an electrical defect. Incorrectly done cable splices can result in different abnormal behaviors.
