How to start your TCL LINKPORT IK511
Step 1. Insert a Nano SIM card.
1. Remove the back cover. Hold the TCL LINKPORT IK511 in one hand and pull the back cover
outwards from the slot using the index finger of your other hand.
2. Align the SIM card cutout tab as seen in the diagram and gently slide the card into the slot with
the gold metal contacts facing down.
3. Make sure the Nano SIM card clicks into place. Put the back cover on.
Step 2. Connect your TCL LINKPORT IK511 to a computer using the USB-C to USB-C cable
included in the box.
Step 3. Software will auto-install. Once installation is complete, your TCL LINKPORT IK511 is ready
for use.
* TCL LINKPORT IK511 supports Plug and Play for terminals with different operating systems in Web UI
mode. For more details, go to the Help section on the main page of the Web UI.
Notes:
• Do not remove the Nano SIM card when the TCL LINKPORT IK511 is in use.
• If connection fails, go to http:/ /192.168.0.1 to check the status.
• If you cannot access http:/ /192.168.0.1, disconnect from all networks, remove and re-insert the
TCL LINKPORT IK511, reset the TCL LINKPORT IK511, or restart your computer.
M2M (Machine to Machine) mode (Only for M2M users)
The M2M mode is only applicable for technology professionals. Use with caution.
1. Log in the Web UI, go to Settings > Advanced settings > M2M, click M2M status to enable M2M
mode. At this time, the Web UI will be unavailable.
2. Connect your TCL LINKPORT IK511 to the terminal you want to use it in M2M mode.
* When your TCL LINKPORT IK511 is working, press the Reset button for 3 seconds or through
AT commands
to reset your TCL LINKPORT IK511 back to the Web UI.

¹ AT commands (AT meaning attention) are instructions used to control a modem. The command set consists
of a series of short text strings which can be combined to produce commands for operations such as
dialing, managing SMS functions, and changing the parameters of the connection.

Quick setup
Open your browser and go to http:/ /192.168.0.1 to enter the main page.
Click "Settings" to configure the basic settings.
Approved Firmware Versions
This device will only operate with firmware versions that have been approved for use by your
wireless carrier and the device manufacturer. If unauthorized firmware is placed on the device it will
not function.

When the Reset button is pressed for 3 seconds, the
System & Signal & SMS LEDs will turn solid green at the
same time, and the device will be restored to factory
settings and then restart.
