E2 Resistances: allow the production of heat inside the tunnel according to the preset temperature. M3 “Tunnel drive” motor: it starts the movement of the conveyor in the tunnel.

ADJUSTMENT OF REEL CARRIERS AND PRODUCT CARRIER ‒ Adjust the (A) reel carrier and the (C) product carrier depending on the (B) width and the (H) height of the product to be packaged. ‒ Leave a film margin of at least half of its (H) height along the rear edge of the product.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OPERATION AND USE ‒ Before performing any operation, the operator must make sure that he/she understood the "Instructions for use". ‒ When using the machine for the first time, the operator must read the manual and identify the controls and simulate some operations, especially the start-up and shutdown.

Black button: stops the working cycle; if the tunnel temperature is higher than 100 °C the cooling procedure is started. PACK 5040M/6050M PACK 5040A/6050A "Sealing conveyor speed" key: programs the tape welding speed. Values from 0 ÷ 50 sec. with 1 sec. increments can be set. - Press the key to activate the function; the relative LED lights up and the display shows the current value.

CYCLE PARAMETER SETTING To set the cycle parameters, such as tunnel temperature, belt speed, welding and cooling time, and sealing conveyor time, proceed as follows. ‒ Press the key corresponding to the relevant parameter (press and hold the key only when choosing parameter (10) "tunnel temperature").
The display shows the writing dEF to indicate that the process has been carried out. 6.5. MACHINE USE (PACK 5040M - PACK 6050M) The illustration shows the points of intervention and the description indicates the procedures to follow.
PACK 5040M/6050M PACK 5040A/6050A The product is conveyed into the tunnel, where it undergoes a shrinkage of the film. At the end of the cycle, the product exits the tunnel. Important As soon as the welding of a product has ended and the welding mat has finished the run, the machine is ready for a new cycle even if the previously welded product has not yet come out of the tunnel or even if it has not yet reached the tunnel carrier.
PACK 5040M/6050M PACK 5040A/6050A Insert the product to be packaged between the two layers of film and place it on top of the sealing conveyor. The two sides of the welding arm should be positioned on the sides of the film outside the product.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR REPLACING PARTS ‒ Carry out the interventions with all the safety devices enabled and wear the DPI provided. ‒ DO NOT carry out any intervention that is not described in the manual but contact an Assistance Service authorised by the manufacturer.

Unscrew the (A) screw and take out the (B) welding wire. Place a new (B) wire and secure it with the appropriate screws, making sure to stretch it correctly by pressing on the (C) spring.
