FIRST STEPS

information Unboxing: some dust may be present on the surface of the machine due to the recycled materials used in the packaging. This is not dangerous, simply clean with a soft tissue.

COFFEE PREPARATION

CLEANING

  1. Wash with hot water + mild odourless detergent
  2. Dry with a clean and fresh towels

DESCALING

  1. Eject capsule
  2. Empty capsules and water
  3. Add water + Nespresso descaling agent
  4. Place a container
  5. Enter descaling mode

  6. Start descaling
  7. Refill and descale again
  8. Rinse water tank, fill with fresh potable water and press Lungo
  1. Repeat step 8
  2. Exit descaling mode
    DESCALING - Exit descaling mode

  1. Machine OFF - press and hold the Espresso button
  2. Press Espresso button
    ENERGY SAVING MODE - TO CHANGE THIS SETTING
  3. To exit - press and hold the Lungo button

PERSONALIZE YOUR COFFEE SIZE

  1. Fill with fresh potable water, insert a capsule and place a cup

  2. Press and hold the chosen Coffee
  3. Release the button when desired quantity is reached

  1. Machine OFF - press and hold the Lungo button

EMPTYING THE SYSTEM

BEFORE A PERIOD OF NON-USE AND FOR FROST PROTECTION, OR BEFORE A REPAIR

  1. Machine OFF - remove water tank and open the lever
  2. Place a container under the coffee outlet
  3. Press and hold both buttons

TROUBLESHOOTING

No light indicator
  • Check the power outlet, plug, voltage, and fuse. In case of problems, call Nespresso.
No coffee, no water
  • First use: fill water tank with warm water (max. 55°C / 130 F) and run through machine according to instructions in the "FIRST STEPS" section.
  • Water tank is empty. Fill water tank.
  • Descale if necessary; see Descaling section.
Coffee comes out very slowly
  • Flow speed depends on the coffee variety.
  • Descale if necessary; see Descaling section.
Coffee is not hot enough
  • Descale if necessary; see Descaling section.
