Lighting

Bring the end of the lighter very near the gas burner etc. and pull the lighting button towards yourself; the protective guard of the lighter will retract and the lighter will begin to form a plasma beam that will light the flame of the gas burner etc. By releasing the button the beam will be deactivated, the protective guard will return to the original position and the blue indicator lamp will go off after a while. Pull the safety lock to the "0" position after use.
Notice: A subtle hissing sound will be audible when the plasma beam is formed – a natural characteristic of the plasma lighter. The formation of the plasma beam ends automatically after about 7 seconds. When lighting repeatedly in short intervals, use the plasma lighter no more than 5 times; set it aside for a while before using it again.
