    Check Operating Temperature Check if your PM3 is used out of operation temperature. In an extremely cold or hot place, the scanner may not perform the best of it.  PM3 Operating temperature: -10°C ~ 50°C Charge Before Use Make sure the PM3 has enough battery for work.
  • Page 5 Charge the device using the power adapter for a while, and try again. Issue on battery or system If no LED lights even though connecting the power adapter to PM3, the battery or system may have a problem. A. Perform reset - Press UP + DOWN + Scan button simultaneously.

  • Page 9 Reset the PM3 If you still cannot solve the problem the above ways or the PM3 works abnormally, reset the scanner. Hard Reset Perform hard reset when pressing the SCAN, UP, and DOWN buttons at the same time. After hard reset, the PM3 will boot up automatically.

    Appendix Firmware Update When PM3 does not work as expected, check the firmware version of your PM3 in Admin Menu > Device Info > F/W Version. Figure 12 Firmware version You can check the latest version and download the update package (Firmware file and update tool)
