Setting the drive's jumpers
For example, if you choose SCSI ID 3, install jumpers across jumper
pin sets ID1 and ID2 as indicated in Table 2 by the word IN. Do not
install jumpers across jumper-pin set ID4 as indicated by the word

IN means the jumper is installed. OUT means the jumper is not installed.
*The first SCSI-2 host bus adapter board in your computer system is
normally set to SCSI ID 7. The second one in your system is set to SCSI ID6.
Make sure you set your drive to its own ID number— one that is not being used.
Setting TERM, TEST, PRV/ALW, and PRTY jumpers
1. Refer to your installation or setup manual for your AViiON
computer or mass-storage system.
If this manual indicates a jumper setting that is different than the
factory default setting shown in Table 3 (for example, "termination
power not supplied by the drive"), install or remove the jumpers
accordingly. If there is no mention of the jumper's function in these
manuals, leave the jumper installed at the factory default setting.
