Make sure the CD-ROM is not upside down in the drive. Refer to
Figure 11 for the proper way to insert the CD-ROM in the drive.

scratched.

Interpreting the drive busy LED indicator
During drive operation, the drive-busy LED shown in Figure 16
reports the activity or condition of the drive or compact disk. The
LED can produce up to five visual codes: Off, flashing-1, flashing-2,
flashing-3, or flashing-4. The following lists the general meaning of
each visual code.
